Gillian Walker MISCP
Gillian trained in the Physiotherapy School of Trinity College Dublin. Founder of the practice with 25 years experience in musculoskeletal therapy. Having worked extensively in the field of sports medicine with the FAI, Irish Swimming and The Olympic Council, she now has a specific interest in Lower Limb biomechanics, rehabilitation and orthotic prescription. Most of these injuries require a multifaceted approach from addressing the soft tissue changes with physiotherapy modalities to providing shoe advice and orthotics where necessary. The Clinic now uses state of the art gait analysis with their Scanning system from Orthomed Systems. Over the years Gillian and her team have built the practice into what it is today.
Sheenagh Sexton MISCP
Sheenagh is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin. As well as general musculoskeletal and biomechanical assessment and treatment, Sheenagh is a qualified acupuncturist (UCD School of Physiotherapy). Her training in this field has been in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This combination of physiotherapy and acupuncture is very effective in treating musculoskeletal problems.
Melissa McKenna. MISCP
Melissa is a graduate of University College Dublin. Melissa has worked extensively in acute hospital settings, sports clubs and in Private Practice. Her experience since qualification in 1995 has focused on musculoskeletal, sports injury and biomechanical assessment and treatment. She has a keen interest in treating spinal,back and neck pain and their related symptoms.
Orla Creedon MISCP
Orla qualified with an Honours degree in Occupational Therapy from Trinity College Dublin in 2000. Subsequent to this she worked in a variety of clinical settings, which included neurology, care of the elderly, social services and burns and plastics. She then qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2005, working predominately since then in the fields of respiratory care, ICU and Musculoskeletal outpatients. She has a keen interest in the prevention and treatment of sport injuries, back and neck pain. She also currently works as a Physiotherapist for Old Wesley rugby club.
